i love this place! my boyfriend took my here for my first time ever going to a strip club, i was really weary and nervous but everyone was friendly and it was a very relaxed place to be. coming from a 20 year old female, i think that this place was very good because the female strippers are very friendly, welcoming and they love when females come in because its a chick to talk to, to relate to and its a lot easier for them to get up on the stage because its one less guy to worry about pleasing. now, i‘m straight but i have gone back for a few lap dances and the girls are really sweet and nice the entire time, sure they rub up on you n what not but the entire time its mainly conversation- I willingly let my boyfriend go there even with out me bc I know the girls and they are the sweetest things. I love this place, great hospitality and girls. Also, the bouncers are really nice unless you give them a reason to get upset. Besides that freaking amazing environment. Thank you LY2 for the great and amazing experience every time.

this place will take your money anyway they can. Don‘t get too drunk cause they will really rob you then. I for one will never go back. I have be to many places and I would much rather make a longer drive to the dooks then go back to the shit hole lumberyard2.

This was my first experience at a strip club, so I don‘t have a whole lot to compare it to. I went on a Friday night around 2am and stayed until the place closed.

I would say most of the girls are much more attractive than I had even expected, an average of a 7 or 8. The crowd was pretty mixed and chill. The cover is a bit high compared to other places I‘ve heard of, but I like that because it keeps some of the trash from coming in. The girls at the door were friendly and the guy working the bathroom was cool as hell too. Appreciated the pop/drink fountain as well.

I watched a few dances, and after seeing Anya (spelling?) take the stage, I HAD to have a private dance with her. Ended up doing the VIP and a double private dance with her later on. The girl is GORGEOUS and very nice. She definitely made one of the best nights I‘ve had in a long time and I definitely plan on going back!

Been there several times on business trips. Always a great time. Never had any problems with girls or management.

I went to this club with a friend of mine while he had a girl talking to him another girl came up to me that wasn‘t terrible looking, but wasn‘t my type. When I said I wasn‘t in the mood for a private dance I was told by her that she should probably have me kicked out. Strictly because I wouldn‘t get a dance from her! It never went much past that, but it ruined my night thinking that she would do something like that. I ultimately ended up going to the VIP area with two girls (def not her) so it wasn‘t like I wasn‘t there to spend money which is why I was even more pissed.

This Place was awful, the girls were real bitches as well as the staff. I got a private dance from one girl and she was only sapose to go 1 song and thats all I wanted. She just kept on grabing my cock and I couldn‘t even hear the music in the vip to even know when the song was up. I hope she enjoyed screwing me out off 100 bucks. As for the bouncers, they don‘t know how to run that place. I was talking calming about how I should only have to pay for 1 song since i never knew when the 1st ended. I‘m only 5‘4‘‘ 130lbs, bouncer 6‘5‘‘ish 250, he grabs my arm almost breaking it and putting it behind my back, then 2 guys litterly through me out the door, yes it took 2 of them. They‘re real men becuase they harrass a 130lbs guy. I wouldn‘t recomend going here, stay clear!!!! Go to Dooks in Davenport, IA instead way better girls and they ask you know after each dance if you want another.

to the girl who is and i quote " a very young attractive lady with a nice body" you cant expect to be givin money for nothing. if only you an your friends participated then there isnt enough girls to hold the compitition so they needed more girls. So long as you do not currently work at The Lumber yard or any of its affiliates you are allowed to compete in the ameture compition. you are never asked to sign anything stating you have never been a dancer. this is a false statement.
As far as the guy complianing about 2-1‘s your already getting something for nothing the private dance has seperate music playing and ALL SONGS are 3.5 min long no acceptions!
so any day of the week at any time your songs are the same length.
the girls still have to pay for those 2 songs even though you are getting a discount the dancers are not.
I am no longer dancing at the lumberyard do to issues with poor management but I still do and always will support the girls. until the day comes Jon is no longer the manager I will continue to support from the sidelines.

A few people mentioned how in private dances, they never mentioned if you wanna do another...They just keep doing there thing and it all adds up...Yeah well I got that last night from Heavenly it was worth it but, a little BS for that to happen...I haven‘t been to LY2 in months more like over a year and I remember when they asked if you wanted to do another....I think many problems will be created if that keeps up...otherwise its pretty great place for my return back...probably be nice to have more girls/ladies/women on those commonly slow nights but, doesn‘t every business have a slow night(s).

My advise. Stay away from this place!!! They advertise 2 for 1 lap dances and then screw you by shortning up the songs.
Also they don‘t ask you if you‘d like another but just keep grinding on you. I finally asked if we were about done and was shocked to find out we were on song #4. I complained about this to the bouncer/manager and when I woundn‘t pay for 2nd one and just wanted to leave he blocked the door. Long story short he fucked up my back and then said I was lucky he didn‘t drop kick me. At that point I paid him and got the hell out. Ha ha they lose because thats the last $ they‘ll get from me!!!

okay heres the scoop on this place. im a very attractive young lady with a very nice body. I recently participated in their "amateur night" competition..and got three other girls to do it so we could have the competition. ( i ended up getting third place ) They told us it was just us four and that anyone else that wanted to register was too late. Me and another girl asked to do it together, but they told us it wasn‘t allowed whatsoever . So, we all did our thing up there and got ONE dance and we were all voted on. Then they had two girls that danced together AND had three songs to do it in!! Im sure u can guess that they were the ones who won.. and later that night one of the employees there told me that it was rigged and that the two ladies that won had stripped before.. even tho it was AMATEUR night, and we all had to sign papers saying we hadn‘t done it before.. So, all in all, i think this place is worthless, and that if you‘re a lady wanting to compete.. take ur goods elsewhere

THis place looks gr8 at first time but then when you are aware of other clubs then you can compare it really well.

I have been to this place and just in 3 times only I got bugged up by their cheat behaviour. You go for private dance and on asking for 1 song also they do not remind you about dance geting over. I am not crying for money everytime I spent around 300-400 whenever I go in strip club but there has to be proper message and service.

I have been to 5 times to woody‘s and I am still interested in going to wood‘s only. We have stopped completely going to LumberYard. Girls are not that gr8 compare to woody‘s. The rest room looks really like public toilet from other country whereas Woody‘s rest rooms are very neat. I have been to wood‘s almost most of the days of week and everytime I have found many new faces. They are damn fr8 in services. Also $1225/15 min is lot better deal.

Hot chicks, friendly... as a Montrealer the concept of BYOB at a strip club is unheard of and kinda funny. But it works! The dances are mad expensive to for what I‘m used to, but 2-1 Tuesdays brings it down to Montreal levels, even below. And Tuesday was pretty happening. My favourite is Vanessa, beautiful, petite Mexican girl with a perfect ass and the best smile! I‘ll massage you anyday!

Was an AMAZING time!! Not too sure what all the Negative hype was written below... no fights, no issues with staff, women were beautiful, and the private dances well worth it! As a woman there with a date (male) I was more than impressed!!

Ok believe it or not, they actually have quite a few great looking chicks there that will abuse the shit out of you if you want, have to say the best dancer there was a brunette named Kara. She made the night worth while! Not a huge fan of paying a cover charge as high as $15 but I‘m more than willing to sit there all night

It was my first time to go to a club like this, I was uterly amazed, I had an absolutely great time, the women are incredibly satisfying, and know what they are doing, and the music went along with most of the dance scenes. I would recommend to anyone to go to the LY2!!!

I like the club overall, the dancers are younger than some expect, seeming to be in the early 20‘s more than anything else. I like seeing dancers in my age group, though, but it just depends on personal taste. They are all very attractive and welcoming. overall it‘s a fun experience for me.

i dont know what everyone is bashing the Lumberyard for. its so much fun! And woodys doesnt have things like ladies night or amateur night....i go quite a bit and love it!!! i really like the bouncers, and theres such a wide veriety of girls.

Even though I‘m from Cedar Rapids, I have been to a lot of clubs around the U.S. and this one is near the bottom of my list. I have gone probably 10 times each time thinking it would be better. The girls are very average and many times are more into themselves than you. I can handle that, but what I can no longer take is the worst DJ on the planet is here. He "F" bombs every other sentence and will verbally abuse the crowd. You keep trying to block him out but its tough.

this place should not charge cover before 5pm. 15$ on fri and sat is to high ! go to woodys for 10. not enough girls or variety of them. not nearly as personable as woodys. dj is annoying as f*ck everytime i go

Finally decided to go with a few friends one night and now i go at least once a week sometimes twice. The place is great and its just a blast. The dancers are way raw and that means good looking. They play the best music, the girls look great, they have big screen tv‘s and are always playing some kind of sports on them. I have wanted to go to woody‘s, but have never went because i feel like if i spend money there then i‘m thinking $15, 20,50 could have been spent at lumberyard 2 insted. Its just that great. I‘m a regular there and well respected. I‘ve probably been there about 25 times. Bottom line Go its a guarenteed blast.

This was my second time and all I can say is the first time there was better. Some or maybe just one stripper was too mean. Pouring beer down my buddies pants wasn‘t cool.

I thought it was amazing, I‘ve been there twice and both times were a wonderful experience.

I‘ve been to about every club in Iowa and I have to say this one is at the very bottom of my list...Too much floor space, nowhere near enough ladies to handle the patrons and the entire vibe of the place takes away the more intimate setting of the smaller clubs...and they have someone selling food inside?! i‘m not going back!

I love the Lumberyard like a second home my penis is always hard there. I have to say though that my brother and his friends from Bloomington, IL cannot get enough of the place. I highly recommend a Lumberyard 3 in Bloomington, IL because my brother and his State Farm buds would support the place.
